Ceramic cross baffle ring packing is also developed based on the idea of increasing the specific surface of the packing to enhance the mass transfer efficiency. Its structure is to add a cross baffle to the Raschig ring. Generally speaking, this kind of packing is only suitable for neat stacking due to its large size, and is generally only used as the support distribution layer at the bottom of the tower for random packing at present. Φ80-150mm size cross baffle ring can be used as supporting material, the void ratio is greater than 60%, and the number is the number of integers.
Due to its high density and excellent acid and heat resistance, the ceramic cross separator ring is resistant to corrosion by various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents other than hydrofluoric acid. Ceramic cross baffle rings can be used in drying towers, absorption towers, cooling towers, washing towers, regeneration towers, etc. in chemical, metallurgy, gas, environmental protection and other industries.
